Syria: June 2026

In June 2026, HMR returned to Syria in partnership with Rethink Charity, building on our November 2025 mission. Our optical and dental teams worked across Ghouta, Idlib and Aleppo, providing free healthcare to communities affected by conflict and displacement. We saw over 1,000 optical patients, dispensed 750+ pairs of spectacles, and treated around 450 dental patients. Alongside this, we supported vulnerable families through zakat, cash aid and food distributions. This mission deepened our commitment to Syria and to building long-term, sustainable healthcare support for those most in need.
